Event Description: 5K Snowshoe on a groomed course. 3.2 miles with approximately 1200 feet of elevation gain and loss. We will also be offering a triathlon of 5K snowshoe; 5K Nordic ski and 5K Fatbike. Each of these events will be also held individually.
The Cold Avenger Winter Triathlon is the Cowboy State Games’ winter triathlon. The triathlon is made up of a 5K Snowshoe, 5K Nordic Ski and 5K Fatbike.
The snowshoe, Nordic ski and fatbike will also be held as individual events.
We will crown Triathlon, snowshoe, Nordic ski and fatbike Cowboy State Games champions.
Fatbikes will be available for rent from Mountain Sports, Crazy Pedaler and Zeelo’s Cranks and Planks in Casper.
Race time begins at 10:00 a.m.
Entry Fee: Triathlon -$50 per person; Snowshoe – $35 per person; Fatbike – $35 per person; Nordic Ski – $35 per person.
